The digital and innovation challenges facing the construction sector in Bulgaria
On June 2, I hosted a high-level conference "Digital and innovation challenges for the construction sector in Bulgaria". An official delegation from the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria (KSB) was part of the participants in this event. KSB raised the problem of the high prices of construction materials and the need for indexation of construction contracts, and the challenges and opportunities facing the construction industry were also discussed.
Among the main topics of the forum were energy efficiency as a tool for energy independence in the context of the European Green Pact and the digitization of the construction sector. My message to the construction industry and architects is to work to achieve the ambitious targets of the EU's "Ready for 55" package related to increasing the Union's energy efficiency.
Within the framework of the forum, Stefan Moser, head of department in DG "Energy" of the European Commission, made a speech. The President of the European Federation of the Construction Industry (FIEC) Philip Crampton and Gen. FIEC director Domenico Campogrande.
