Meeting of the Renew Europe Group

Some of the activities of each Member of the European Parliament include speeches on a variety of topics. Of course, it is in these speeches that the focus of interest on a particular topic for which the respective MP works. I have fought for many causes in my previous work in the EP, and my speeches in plenary illustrate only part of them. Parliament meets in plenary each month (except August) in Strasbourg for a four-day part-session (Monday to Thursday). The work during the plenary session is mainly devoted to discussion and voting. Only the texts voted during the plenary and the written declarations, supported by the signatures of the majority of Members, are official documents of the European Parliament. MEPs who request the floor are put on a list of speakers, whose order is determined according to the numerical importance of their political group.
